How to Build an MVP in 4 Weeks

What you'll learn A week-by-week plan for building a working MVP in 4 weeks, whether you code or not. Why it matters Most MVPs take 6 months and 10x scope. Users don't care. They want the ugly, working v1 today. The playbook 1) Week 1 — Define the ONE core action (e.g. 'user posts an idea'). Everything else is deferred to v2. 2) Week 2 — Build a Figma mockup of only the 3 screens needed for that action. Show to 10 users, iterate. 3) Week 3 — Build. Use no-code (Bubble, Softr, Adalo) or hire on Upwork (₹40K for 2 weeks of a dev). Skip auth if you can — use Google login only. 4) Week 4 — Launch to 100 friends + WhatsApp groups. Fix top 3 bugs. Watch how they use it (Microsoft Clarity, free). 5) Deferred to v2 — Payments, Notifications, Onboarding tour, Admin panel, Multi-language. Common mistakes Adding features because 'competitors have them'. Perfecting UI before validating flow. Building auth from scratch (use Google OAuth or Emergent Auth). Next action Write down your ONE core action right now in 5 words. Cut everything else from scope this week.
