These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") form a legally binding agreement between you and Inovera Limited("Ideas Mine", "we", "us", "our"), governing your access to and use of the Ideas Mine website and services (the "Service"). By creating an account or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not use the Service.
The Service is provided by Inovera Limited, a private limited company registered in Scotland, United Kingdom under Company No. SC874398. You can contact us at support@ideasmine.co.uk.
Ideas Mine is a community platform for discovering, posting, validating and (optionally) selling startup ideas, supported by an AI Idea Studio. We may modify, suspend or discontinue features at any time; where changes materially reduce paid features we will give you reasonable notice and, where required by UK consumer law, a pro-rata refund.
You agree not to:
We may remove content, restrict features, suspend or terminate accounts that breach these rules.
Home country. A user's "home country" is the country selected during account registration and stored on the user record. The home country is used (i) to localise pricing, (ii) to scope the Pro Local entitlement, and (iii) to filter the default feed. Admins may correct a user's home country in genuinely-mistaken cases (e.g. a traveller who signed up from the wrong region); doing so does not retroactively change which categories were already accessible.
What each plan does NOT include. Neither Pro Local nor Pro Global is an "ad-free experience" purchase. Pro members may, now or in the future, see the same sponsored content, promoted posts, banner placements and partner messages as Free members. See Section 21 (Advertising & Sponsored Content) for details. Pro Local does not grant any right to view admin-curated categories in countries other than the user's home country; users wanting that access should purchase Pro Global instead.
Credit-pack mechanics. Each new user receives a one-time welcome bonus of 5 credits (50,000 tokens) on registration. Credits do not expire — they are a lifetime balance. Once you have consumed all of your credits, you must purchase another pack to continue using AI Chat. Each new purchase simply adds the new credits on top of any unused balance. Posting an idea on Ideas Mine is and remains free for all users.
Prices are exclusive of any applicable VAT or sales tax unless stated otherwise. We may change prices on notice; any pack or Pro tier you have already purchased will not be re-priced retroactively.
If you are a consumer based in the UK or the EU, you have a statutory 14-day right to cancel paid digital services without giving any reason, beginning on the day the contract is concluded.
However, by purchasing and immediately starting to use a digital service (such as applying a Boost, unlocking categories with Pro, or sending messages using an AI Credit Pack), you expressly request immediate performance and acknowledge that you lose the right to cancel once performance has begun.
To exercise the right to cancel where it still applies, contact support@ideasmine.co.uk within 14 days of purchase. We will refund eligible amounts within 14 days using the original payment method.
Important — please read carefully. A very substantial portion of the content displayed on the Service — including problem statements, startup brief cards, market hints, MVP suggestions, revenue ideas, category descriptions and the entire "Ideas Mine" admin-curated feed across every country and category — is generated by large language models (artificial intelligence). The AI Idea Studio (chat) is also AI-generated. Although we make reasonable efforts to curate and review content before it appears in the feed, we do not manually verify every idea, every claim, every statistic, every market size estimate, every pricing suggestion or every regulatory reference.
AI outputs can be inaccurate, incomplete, outdated, hallucinated, biased or wrong. Statistics quoted in an idea brief, market sizes, customer-segment claims, pricing benchmarks, revenue forecasts and regulatory references may be fabricated or out of date. You must treat every idea on Ideas Mine as a starting point for your own research, not as a verified business plan, market study, professional advice (legal, tax, financial, investment, medical, engineering or otherwise) or guarantee of any kind.
No warranty of commercial viability, profitability or success. Inovera Limited makes no representation, warranty or guarantee — express or implied — that any idea published on the Service is novel, original, unique, legally available in your jurisdiction, technically feasible, commercially viable, profitable, capable of attracting funding, free from third-party intellectual-property claims, or that pursuing it will result in a successful business, revenue, profit or any other commercial outcome. Identical or similar ideas may already have been attempted by others, may already be protected by patents, trademarks or copyrights belonging to third parties, may be regulated or prohibited in your jurisdiction, or may fail commercially for reasons entirely outside our control.
You build at your own risk and on your own responsibility. If you decide to act on any idea you encounter on Ideas Mine — whether by registering a company, raising capital, hiring staff, building a product, spending money on marketing, signing contracts, taking on debt, leaving paid employment or otherwise — you do so entirely at your own risk, on your own initiative, using your own judgement, and on the basis of your own independent due diligence (including, where appropriate, qualified legal, tax, financial, market-research and technical advice obtained from licensed professionals).
No liability for business losses. To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Inovera Limited will not be liable in any way for any loss, damage, cost, expense, debt, lost profits, lost revenue, lost opportunity, wasted expenditure, wasted time, failed venture, reputational damage, regulatory penalty, tax assessment, IP-infringement claim, or any other direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary or punitive damage of any nature — whether arising in contract, tort (including negligence), statute or otherwise — that you or any third party may suffer as a result of, in connection with, or in reliance on any idea, suggestion, market data, brief, AI Chat output, contact email, listing, comment or other content displayed on, generated by or obtained through Ideas Mine. This expressly includes (without limitation) any business you start, attempt to start, fund, operate, sell, license, advertise, market or wind down based wholly or partly on content from the Service.
Paid features do not change this. Purchasing Ideas Mine Pro, applying a post Boost, buying an AI Credit Pack, or any other paid feature does not constitute professional advice, an endorsement of any idea, a verification of any claim, a guarantee of commercial outcome, or an assumption of any risk by Inovera Limited. The fee you pay is for software access only.
This Section 10 applies whether the content is labelled "Admin" / "Ideas Mine" / "AI Idea Studio" / "Community" / "User-submitted" or otherwise, and applies whether you are a free user, Pro user or paying user. Your statutory rights as a consumer (where applicable, e.g. under the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015) are unaffected.
Ideas Mine operates globally and surfaces ideas tailored to different countries, but rules and regulations vary widely across jurisdictions and change over time. We do not — and cannot — verify that any specific idea, business model, product, service or activity discussed on the Service is legal, licensed, taxable or permitted in your country, state, province or city.
Before you implement, launch, advertise, sell or otherwise act on any idea you encounter on Ideas Mine — whether posted by an admin, the AI Idea Studio or another user — it is your responsibility to consult the relevant local regulators, government bodies, licensing authorities, tax authorities and qualified professional advisers (lawyer, accountant, financial adviser, etc.) to confirm that what you intend to do complies with all applicable laws and regulations in your jurisdiction.
Examples include but are not limited to: business registration, sector-specific licences (financial services, healthcare, food, transport, telecoms, alcohol, drones, etc.), data-protection and privacy laws, employment and labour laws, consumer-protection rules, tax registration and remittance, advertising standards, IP rights, import/export controls and platform terms of service of any third party you plan to integrate with.
You agree that Inovera Limited is not liable for any loss, penalty, fine, prosecution, regulatory action or other damage arising out of your failure to obtain proper local advice and clearances before acting on content from the Service.
All rights, title and interest in the Service (excluding User Content), including the Ideas Mine name, logo, design, software and trade-marks, belong to Inovera Limited or our licensors. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell or create derivative works of the Service without our prior written consent.
You can report content via the Report button. We review reports promptly and may remove content, warn, suspend or terminate accounts as we consider appropriate. Persistent or serious offenders may be permanently banned.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, error-free, or that it will meet your specific requirements. Nothing in these Terms limits your statutory rights as a consumer under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for: (a) death or personal injury caused by our negligence; (b) fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation; or (c) any other liability which cannot be excluded under UK law.
Subject to the above, to the maximum extent permitted by law:
The Service is intended for personal and small-business use. If you use it for purposes outside your trade, business, craft or profession, you act as a consumer and your statutory rights are unaffected.
If you use the Service in the course of a business, you agree to indemnify and hold harmless Inovera Limited, its officers, employees and agents from any claims, losses, damages or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your User Content, your breach of these Terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by in-app banner or email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not accept the changes, you must stop using the Service.
These Terms and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them (including non-contractual disputes or claims) are governed by the laws of England and Wales. You and we agree that the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, except that consumers domiciled in Scotland or Northern Ireland may also bring proceedings in their local courts.
If you have a complaint, please contact support@ideasmine.co.uk and we will do our best to resolve it. If we are unable to settle the matter, UK consumers may use the EU Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr, although we are not required to participate.
The Service may, now or in the future, display advertising, sponsored posts, promoted ideas, partner placements, sponsor logos and other commercial messages ("Sponsored Content") to all users, regardless of whether they are Free or Pro members. By using Ideas Mine you agree that you may encounter Sponsored Content in the feed, on category pages, in newsletters, on idea pages, or in any other part of the Service.
Pro membership is not an ad-free purchase. Ideas Mine Pro entitles you to the premium content access described in Section 6 — unlocked categories, seller contact emails on for-sale ideas, and the ability to apply paid Boosts to your own posts. Pro membership does not grant any right to a feed, page or experience that is free of Sponsored Content. We may introduce, modify, expand or remove Sponsored Content at any time without notice and without any reduction in or refund of your Pro fee.
Labelling. Where a piece of content is paid for or commercially incentivised by a third party, we will mark it as "Sponsored", "Promoted", "Ad" or similar in line with the UK Advertising Standards Authority (ASA) CAP Code and applicable consumer-protection law. You should treat any such content as a paid advertisement, not as an editorial recommendation by Inovera Limited.
No endorsement. The presence of a Sponsored Content placement does not mean Inovera Limited endorses, recommends, has verified, or accepts responsibility for the advertiser, their product, their service, their claims, their statistics, their pricing, their availability in your jurisdiction or the outcome of any transaction you enter into with them. Your dealings with any advertiser are between you and that advertiser only.
Third-party links and trackers. Sponsored Content may contain links to third-party websites or services. We may also, in the future, deploy first-party impression and click counters so that we can fairly invoice advertisers and serve relevant content to relevant audiences. Where this involves any change to the cookies, trackers or personal-data processing described in our Privacy Policy, we will update the Privacy Policy and notify you in line with Section 18 of these Terms.
Categories of advertising we will not knowingly accept. We aim to keep Sponsored Content relevant and brand-safe. We will not knowingly accept advertising for: illegal goods or services, unlicensed financial products (including unregulated crypto offerings, get-rich-quick schemes, pyramid or multi-level marketing), gambling not licensed in the user's jurisdiction, adult content, weapons, tobacco, content that violates our Acceptable Use rules (Section 5), or anything that the ASA / FTC / equivalent regulator in the user's country would prohibit.
Advertiser terms. If you advertise on Ideas Mine, separate advertiser terms apply in addition to these Terms — including ad creative review, payment terms, refund rules for non-served impressions, and prohibited categories. By placing an advertisement you accept those advertiser terms.
Your choices. You can hide an individual sponsored post you don't like via the post menu where available. We will not retaliate against any user who reports a misleading or non-compliant advertisement to support@ideasmine.co.uk.
