Refund Policy

This Refund Policy applies to one-time digital purchases made on Ideas Mine ( operated by Inovera Limited, Company No. SC874398, registered in Scotland, United Kingdom ). It mirrors Section 9 of our Terms & Conditions.

1. What you're buying

Ideas Mine sells three one-time digital products. All are delivered automatically by our backend the moment payment succeeds:

  • Ideas Mine Pro — a permanent unlock that reveals seller-contact emails on for-sale ideas and grants access to premium categories.
  • Post Boost (7 days) — pins one of the buyer's own posts to the top of its feed for 7 calendar days.
  • AI Credits Pack (100 credits) — top-up of 100 credits (≈ 1 million tokens) for the in-app AI Idea Studio.

All products are digital services. No physical goods are shipped. There is no recurring subscription billing.

2. UK statutory right to cancel (14 days)

Under the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013, UK consumers normally have 14 days from the date of purchase to cancel a contract for digital content and receive a full refund.

However, by purchasing and immediately starting to use a digital service on Ideas Mine — for example by unlocking Pro features, applying a Boost to a post, or sending any AI Chat message against a Credit Pack — you expressly request immediate performance of the contract and acknowledge that you lose the statutory right to cancel once that performance has begun.

If you have purchased but have not yet used the benefit (e.g. Pro purchased but no contact email revealed; Boost purchased but not yet applied; Credits Pack purchased but no AI Chat messages sent), you may request a full refund within 14 days of purchase by emailing support@ideasmine.co.uk with your order ID. Refunds are issued within 14 days using the original payment method.

3. Refunds after the benefit has been used

  • Ideas Mine Pro — non-refundable once any premium category has been accessed or any seller-contact email has been revealed.
  • Post Boost — non-refundable once the boost has been applied to a post (the 7-day timer starts immediately on payment success).
  • AI Credits Pack — non-refundable once any AI Chat message has been sent that consumed credits. Unused, never-spent credit packs purchased less than 14 days ago may be refunded at our discretion — email support@ideasmine.co.uk.

Your statutory rights under the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015 are unaffected. If a product is faulty, not as described, or not delivered, you remain entitled to a refund, repair or replacement under that Act regardless of the rules above.

4. Discretionary refunds (we may say yes)

We will refund (in full or in part) in good faith where:

  • You were charged but the product was not actually delivered to your account (technical failure on our side).
  • You were charged twice for the same product.
  • Your country, currency or card displayed incorrect pricing at checkout.
  • You bought the wrong product by mistake AND have not yet used the benefit.

To request a discretionary refund, email support@ideasmine.co.uk within 14 days of the purchase. Please include: (a) your account email, (b) the order ID from your receipt, and (c) a short description of the issue. We aim to respond within 1 business day (Mon–Fri, UK time).

5. How refunds are processed

Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method used at checkout (card, UPI, Apple Pay, etc.). Refunds typically appear within 5–10 business days, depending on your card issuer or bank.

If your purchase was processed by a Merchant of Record on our behalf (for non-UK regions), the refund is initiated through that processor and will appear on your statement with their name.

6. Chargebacks

Before disputing a charge with your bank, please email support@ideasmine.co.uk — we resolve almost every payment issue faster than a chargeback can be processed. Filing a chargeback after we have already offered a refund may result in your account being suspended for the duration of the dispute, in accordance with our Terms & Conditions.
